The Fred

Green space is The Fred’s defining feature.

The Fred is an expansive renewal of Edina’s Pentagon Park, designed with an emphasis on outdoor living. Green space is the Fred’s defining feature, with its backyard flowing seamlessly into Fred Richards Park. Adjacent to over 40 acres of park land, The Fred pairs state of the art amenities with unparalleled access to the outdoors. The Fred’s logo incorporates Nordic runes in its branches that spell out ‘Fred’, and represents dedication to outdoor living while invoking the clean lines of Nordic design;

We designed The Fred with modern living in mind. In addition to 400+ apartments, The Fred’s productive work from home spaces, state-of-the art exercise and play spaces and superb central location give residents unrivaled freedom to work, play and live on their own terms.

In the future, the City of Edina plans to invest $17.7 million dollars in Fred Richards Park. Plans include new trails, wetland restoration, playing fields and pickle-ball courts. Residents of The Fred will have access to even more outdoor playspace. The Fred truly makes resort style living a lifestyle, every day of the year.
